Virtual Project Judging Information

  • Defiance County 4-H members are asked to submit a project demonstration video using the Flipgrid platform. Members may use Flipgrid to record a video or they may upload a video.
  • Please contact the Extension Office if you need assistance in making your project video due to lack of internet and/or equipment.
  • Poster/Display is still recommended and can be shown in your video.  The poster/display will be exhibited in your 4-H Club booth.
  • Flipgrid may be accessed by your computer or via the Flipgrid app from a mobile device.
  • 4-H members will need to log in with a Google account or Microsoft account.  If you do not have one of these accounts, you will be prompted to create an account.
  • Member will only be able to view his/her own video.
  • Flipgrid will be open July 1 - 17th. 
  • Judging will occur July 18 - 25th.

  • Member may use Google slides to attach additional photos of project. Example: Food portfolios could design a Google Slide for each activity.
  • Member may submit a video that is 3 minutes to 10 minutes in length. 
  • Member will only be able to view his/her own video.
